There are some electives take will take up too much of your time that are requirements for other programs such as economics and psychology. I will be recommending social science & humanities electives to take that are way less involving than required first-year classes and show the 5-year average for each class mentioned.
Please note that just because these classes are possible GPA boosters doesn't mean that the content might be interesting to you or that the class won't be a lot of work. With all of that said, let's begin!

7. ATSC 113 - Applied Meteorology
5-Year Average: 88%
Historically, this class has one of the highest averages for most electives. The content itself can be very tedious if you are not interested in applied meteorology and the course itself isn't easy because of the large amount of content to memorize.
If you find memorization and multiple-choice easy, this course won't take up a lot of your time. Also, there are many documents you can use from previous years on sites such as CourseHero & StuDocu to help with studying for this class.
8. CRWR 200 - Introduction to Creative Writing
5-Year Average: 78%
If you enjoy personal forms of writing such as short stories, poetry, or screenplay or excelled in high school English, you will enjoy this class. What makes most creative writing courses GPA boosters is that there is a lot of freedom in how you want to convey your thoughts on the prompt. As long as you put in significant effort, have an interpretative message behind your writing, and closely follow the assignment rubric, there is a high chance of success in this class.
9. Language electives. These can be grade boosters if you are already fluent in the language, like Russian, Chinese, or Spanish. etc
If these classes seem uninteresting or bore you, any type of subject you are passionate about outside of your required classes could be a GPA booster as well. Although it is encouraged to select classes that interest and challenge you, you can select any one of these classes or similar ones if you just want to improve your GPA.
These GPA boosters are not necessarily easy A's. You cannot skip classes and expect to do the assignments or exams and end with an A. Most of these courses require a lot of memorization and in-class participation. However, the questions are less application-based than most required classes.
What classes have you guys taken that have been GPA boosters? Let me know in the comments below!
Note: Most pre-biomedical engineering students will not be able to take electives unless they have credits from an AP or IB class that is equivalent to a first-year engineering course.
